AFRICAN CENTER CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2024, “Inspire Inclusion”.

Today, we honour the resilience, strength, and achievements of women worldwide. At the African Center for Governance, Asset Recovery and Sustainable Development, we recognize the invaluable contributions of women in the fight against corruption and injustice.

This year’s theme, “Inspire Inclusion,” resonates with our mission. We recognize that true progress in combating corruption can only be achieved when all voices are heard, valued, and included. Women from diverse backgrounds bring unique perspectives and insights that enrich our efforts to build transparent and accountable institutions.

We applaud the courage of women who speak out against corruption, whether it’s reporting unethical behavior or advocating for fair and just practices as well as the crucial role they play in promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity in their communities and workplaces. Together, we can create a world where women are empowered to lead with integrity and make a positive impact on society.

Join us in celebrating the extraordinary women who are driving change and shaping a brighter future for generations to come. Together, let’s continue to strive for a world free from corruption, where every woman and girl can thrive and fulfil her potential.

Happy International Women’s Day!
