The African Centre for Governance, Asset Recovery and Sustainable Development has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to assess the risks of money laundering and terrorism financing among Trust and Company Service Providers (TCSPs) in Nigeria. The initiative aims to strengthen compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) obligations by conducting a comprehensive threat assessment and developing a practical AML/CFT Compliance Manual tailored for TCSPs. This effort is crucial as TCSPs play a significant role in preventing financial crimes, yet they remain vulnerable to misuse without proper regulatory guidance.
The RFP seeks qualified consultants to evaluate current compliance practices, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to enhance supervision and training. Interested parties can find more details and submit their proposals by October 27, 2025.
