To enhance investigative journalists’ capacity to tackle corruption, a special Webinar themed: “Demystifying FATF” the Royal United Services Institute organized a Webinar on understanding the implications behind Nigeria’s 2021 Mutual Evaluation Report (MER), the country’s greylisting and its implications for investigative journalists.

In addition, the Webinar aims to provide an overview of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), its processes and the importance of FATF’s work in promoting financial integrity. The training will equip participants with a deeper understanding of FATF’s processes and how to leverage this knowledge to inform their investigative work. This Webinar promises to provide valuable insights for journalists seeking to hold those in power accountable as corruption remains a significant obstacle to economic development and social justice.
